Highgate Village
Pond Square, Highgate Village
A view across one of Highgate Village's oldest spaces, where 17th- to 19th-century houses look towards the open square named for the ponds that once filled this ground. The prominent oriel windows of Rock House reflect the square's architectural evolution as Highgate grew from a rural village into a historic London suburb. A vintage Morris Minor is parked under the London Plane trees that frame the view across the square.
This painting is currently on preview as part of a forthcoming collection. Availability will be announced after the collection's first exhibition.
